This version of the K-Labs short surf and rock casting rod is tuned for maximum sensitivity, using a reduced grip layout to increase direct blank contact and feedback.
Built on the same durable fibreglass blank, it offers the toughness required for rock fishing while delivering a more connected feel when fishing lighter rigs or subtle bites.
The rod features ALPS guide frames with blue zirconium inserts, chosen for smooth line flow, durability, and a distinctive finish. The K-Labs DPSD-style reel seat is completed with epoxy-ramped ends, fully sealing the seat for improved waterproofing and long-term reliability in harsh saltwater environments.
